Has it been confirmed to be a new standalone title or is it DLC? Maybe a release similar to NSLU?

EDIT: So it isn't some SM3DW DLC, but a sparkling new retail release. Thanks curl-6 for the confirm!

I wouldn't mind buying this if it's retail because the game's graphics look just as good as 3D World or even better so it looks like there's some polish put to it! I need to hear more info about the gameplay and how long the game is first.
