I believe (and hope) its retail. I know for fact that a number of reviewers and Mii-Verse users wanted a full game based on the Captain Toad sections.

retail wtf?
maybe its just me but i thought the toad houses killed the pace of 3d world
i think the game could have done completely without them and it would have been even better.

Would be ok for a Wii U eshop download, but think a retail production of this game would just be a waste of money. Think this game can be fun, but not really a games I will buy when I see it on store shelves.

Why's it a waste? Its one of the few games that uses the gamepad, imo Nintendo should be doing all they can to push games that utalize the gamepad.
