I wonder at in some point Kratos will go after Jesus.

I am also done with Kratos I was fine with Accension but it seems to me even then they were running out of story. I'd be fine with some sort of series with similar elements but a new main character is needed IMO.

Ignoring the Likelihood of this, I think there's potential to be had in the Egyptian Pantheon.

Gods:

• Anubis - God of Death, but not the afterlife. Basically, the ultimate judge. Not powerful in his own right, but it'd be a great way for Kratos to contend with the virtues and sins of his past and be rewarded/punished accordingly.
• Bast - God of Cats and, seemingly, Fire. Often compared to Artemis by the Greeks for her attitude.
• Horus - Son of Osiris and Isis, this was the local sky God. Not that powerful, but a badass who avenged his father.
• Isis - Goddess of Fertility and all that jazz. Inspired the Virgin Mary.
• Osiris - Jesus was a ripoff of this guy. Jesus was left to hang around for three days; this guy was chopped into bits and scattered around, and made a 98% recovery. Technically a sort of cyborg, since he the remaining 2% was replaced with gold. Now in charge of the afterlife for good people.
• Pharaoh - The humanoid descendant of a God, and their representative in Egypt. Lacks a good Greek parallel.
• Ptah - God of craftsmanship.
• Ra - One of the more powerful sun gods out there, being the indirect creator of the world and humanity in particular. Is sort of retired from the daily going-ons of deities, but is still easily visible.
• Sekhmet - Goddess of Healing and War. Created the deserts surrounding Egypt.
• Set - The God of War and Chaos. Basically, a desert-flavored Ares with a bit of the Christian devil thrown in. Killed Osiris and butchered him to pieces that one time. Basically the Patron deity of the Joker from the Dark Knight film. Incidentally, can also possess humans.
• Thoth - The god of knowledge, particularly practical/scientific knowledge. And artwork and literature. He was the intellectual of the group. Wrote the Book of the Dead. Could have vied to be in charge, but let Ra take that spot.

Monsters:

• Crocodiles
• Griffins
• Leviathan
• Mummies
• Rocs
• Serpents

And that's not including Nubian entities and whatever else they can think of.

Why is this even an issue? I never said the game series was bad. You're acting like I insulted your mother or something. I like Bayonetta better. You'll never convince me that it better. Stop trying.

Not sure if serious. Did you watch the full ending?  SPOILER Kratos dosent did you see a blood trail heading off a cliff with his body gone leaving it open to speculation.

OT would be cool no matter what mythology they choose to use, Kratos is just a bad ass and is extreamly fun to see events he goes through play out.

I want them to get rid of Kratos, his story is more than done. Egyptian mythology is a good setting but I want someone other than Kratos.

Why not have a new character fight the Egyptian gods

Kratos is a terrible character and has had his time. They should make a new character to continue the series. Hell, it would be cool if you could fight Kratos.

Ah! Now i get it! He is walking through Egypt on his way to Scandinavia!
