Nothing to do with "salty anti-Nintendo gamers". It's just a matter of opinion. I played it and didn't enjoy it (didn't even finish it). I could see that it was a good game; I just didn't find myself having fun, so I stopped. Do people really not get how opinions work? TLOU got hundreds of GOTY reviews and still many people said that they didn't like it. Were they "salty" as well? I doubt it.

I would personally go with BioShock, but Super Mario Galaxy is a fine choice.

Overall, however, that IGN list is pretty weak.

Opinions are one thing. But most people whining about the rating are those they never played it.

It's not like I played Sony or MS exclusives last gen, but from what I had covered with PC and Nintendo, Galaxy is probably the peak.I have a hard time imagining myself having more fun with any of the games I didn't get the chance to play than I had playing SMG back in 2008. I should do it again!

I still pull up the soundtrack to it and its sequel sometimes.
