N64 was quite the performer too. If only Yamauchi had the sense to compromise on the CD-ROM issue and made the N64 a cart + CD system (the Saturn was so it wasn't impossible).

They would've won that generation by a landslide if they had done that, who knows in that case maybe Sony doesn't even bother with PS2.

It really is going to take a miracle for the Wii U to overtake the GameCube at this rate they will be a full year behind the GCN in sales even if they hit the sales target number they have made for themselves.
