The neg-threads are really working against Nintendo in the "forum-goer" space, and really need to stop. I hope people start re-evaluating their choice in Nintendo topics soon...

I'm not too worried about how it's selling. I'm expecting more collaborations between Nintendo and indie devs as well as third party publishers.

When I say indie devs I mean the big boys such as Platinum Games, Crytek, Suda51 etc with another one or two Bayonetta 2-esque announcements next month at E3.

IMHO, for me Wii U outsell GC and N64 lifetime.

It's VGC; we look at and compare current and past sales regulartly.  This kind of "I don't see the point" posts are useless.

Nintendo failed on almost all aspects of this launch. They need to get their shit together for the next launch.

I swear, if their next console is name Wii Mii...

N64 was quite the performer too. If only Yamauchi had the sense to compromise on the CD-ROM issue and made the N64 a cart + CD system (the Saturn was so it wasn't impossible). 

They would've won that generation by a landslide if they had done that, who knows in that case maybe Sony doesn't even bother with PS2. 


Yeah, the n64 was a pretty good performer. I've always thought the same thing too, if Nintendo had gone cd with the n64, they would have crushed the competition. But, that's their fault and now they must sleep in the bed they've created. Nintendo was way too hardheaded, and Sony seized the opportunity. I had a Saturn, it had a cartridge port? Man, it's been a long time..... Now, I just hope Nintendo can turn a profit on the wiiu, and come up with a great effort for the next gen. I've always said, a desperate Nintendo is a good Nintendo. I hope they knock it out of the park next time....

They are making money per console sold now. So next time around they should meet profit

I hope it at least gets to the cubes levels, but I, in no way shape or form, see it passing the n64. 32 million at this point is impossible.
