They would've won that generation by a landslide if they had done that, who knows in that case maybe Sony doesn't even bother with PS2.

Yeah, the n64 was a pretty good performer. I've always thought the same thing too, if Nintendo had gone cd with the n64, they would have crushed the competition. But, that's their fault and now they must sleep in the bed they've created. Nintendo was way too hardheaded, and Sony seized the opportunity. I had a Saturn, it had a cartridge port? Man, it's been a long time..... Now, I just hope Nintendo can turn a profit on the wiiu, and come up with a great effort for the next gen. I've always said, a desperate Nintendo is a good Nintendo. I hope they knock it out of the park next time....
