Tbh a company going for 60fps rather than trying to get to 1080p at the cost of dropping to 30fps is far better in my opinion. Sure it'd be nice to have both but I'd always want smooth 60fps over 1080p now, especially in a fast racer like MK where that smooth play could make or break some races.

Negative news is posted about almost every console. This isn't a special case.

56 reviews saying the game is great, most also stating it looks great. One of the highest rated games this year.

1 review stating the game has no AA (most of us knew it was 720p) and people start losing their minds, with the predictable bevvy of naysayers saying I told you the WiiU sucks etc. etc.

People need to make their own judgement, in person, about how the game looks if this kind of thing really matters to them. I sincerely hope that most of the people in this thread 'genuinely complaining' are trolls, because if this kind of thing affects truly affects your decision to purchase a game like this, then I am sorry for you.

Nintendo did say that all internally developed launch games would aim for 60fp at 720P, maybe that is what we should expect moving forward; even though Wii U is able to do 1080P. Found the link I was thinking of.

What's the motivation from certain console owners with this uncontrollable urge to bash mario kart 8? There sure is a lot of guys trying their hardest to downplay this game, for whatever reason. 720p and no aa? What's it matter to you guys, you aren't going to play it anyway, so why are you trying so hard?

I never thought I'd see the day when console gamers would complain about a lack of anti aliasing. AA has always been the cream on top if your hardware can handle it. The better the hardware, the more cream (god help me if Jizzbeard is reading this). Games were never unplayable due to lack of AA though. It used to be only PC elitists who would claim that they refused to play a game or that it "hurt their eyes" if it had no AA.

X1/3DS/PS4 come nowhere close to wiiu/vita!!!!

Trust me im not. Thats why we argued alot about it. Its almost the same argument with DK+Metroid, of course that you take to the heart kinda badly.

DK will sell 1mil+ maybe 1.5mil+ lifetime. I wish metroid can do that high (also it should cost alot more to make)
