Steam numbers could give a hint where those "missing" PC games sold are:

Borderlands 2 I imagine is really more successful with the PC audience.

Borderlands was 360>PS3>PC when they showed shipment numbers a few years back. Doubt that there is much of a difference with Borderlands 2 (wasn't in any Humble Bundle or something).

I am surprised Bioshock sold so less, considering it's hype and whatnot.

I'm confused. Does Take 2 own 2K games? I only noticed it now. How odd to use 2 different brands on the same company.

Take Two interactive is the owner of the multiple developers under the 2K and Rockstar banners..

I'm guessing the Borderlands disparity is mainly the result of how popular the game is with PC gamers, since they mainly download games digitally, though it may be undertracked some physically. I can't imagine 2.5 million digital sales for Bioshock Infinite though, so VGchartz must have it undertracked.

actually the chart Kynes posted has BI at

Said it in another thread - With Gen8/ PC versions of GTAV, we are looking at a game that passes Super Mario Bros.

Also, Borderlands 3 is gonna be huuuuuuuge.
