Why 51m is so hard to get close if there are close 3 years to go yet (well 2 years and 8 months).

If PS4 do 13m a year then you will have close to 45m already.

I think it has a fair shot at 50 by the end of 2016. But even in the best case I don't think it'd be much higher.
I'm still thinking we'll see hardware market shrinkage over last gen overall, especially with pricier consoles, so that'd be part of it.

What don't most of you get ? the mass market sees it for what it is. PS4 already won, will get majority of the overall console sales. As before its a mere question of can sony produce enough in that time frame.

well i was thinking that since the 360 and ps3 are only at 80mil having a system get to under a 30 mill diff in just 3 years just doesnt seem likly
