I still expect around 18m sold ending 2014, probably around 15m more in 2015, and probably near 20m more in 2016. That's around 50-53m total at the begining of 2017, so yes..., i think i agree with them.

Seems kinda high. But 5 for 2013, 14 for 2014, price cut in 2015 so we get 16 for a total of 35. If they are talking about the end of 2016 then add an extra 14 to the 35 for 49 total.

In the 3rd year i figured either a new nintendo console will be out or MS will have got XBO into shape to the point where it can compete with the PS4, thereby takeing  sales.

I hope the market is that healthy.If PS4 sells that much then I see xbo not terribly far behind but a few million, I really believe MS will get some traction when they get thier shit together with Phil Spencer in charge.

This game just started. No one gave ps3 a shit chance at the begining either. Now it has done well overall.

Maybe by the end of 2016, but only if MS keeps X1 on the same path it is now, which is doubtful. I expect a unbundling sooner rather then later.

Those IDC 2008 numbers aren't even half bad. Wii is just a little overestimated but the patern is correct, and 360 and PS3 combined is pretty accurate aswell. So looking at the total console market these are really good.

Not sure how they could underestimate the 360 so much though back in 2008 PS3 was doing a lot better than 360 in the first part of the year, and 360 got most of it's sales in the holidays.

To bad they didn't give XBone numbers.
