Actually ND games sell pretty well in Japan all things considered, combining both platforms TLOU sold (according to vgchartz) over 300k in Japan and Uncharted 2 and 3 also sold about 200k, that's decent. But overall I just don't agree with you, cause you're implying that only bad games sell well in Japan (aside from Nintendo) and that is, no offense, kinda ignorant. Who is to say that the opinion that you have about Monster Hunter isn't the same that a lot of japanese people have about GoW or Halo, for example? The japanese have different tastes for the most part and a lot of brilliant japanese games don't sell well in the west either, Persona for example is a series loved by critics and its players (I mean Persona 4 Golden is the top rated gaming item on Amazon.com) and it still sells pretty poorly in the US considering the size of the market and is virtually non-existant in Europe.

I started a Nxtgen720 video on that topic and the reasoning behind that number being a lie was, I shit you not, that Sony gives out a month of PS+ with every PS4 and thus active PS+ subscription couldn't only be at 10.9 million with 18.5 million systems sold, because everyone would naturally use that 1 free month immediately.

WOW, I just watched his video questioning the 18.5m number from Sony and, to be honest, I honestly thought the 'America is the world' argument was largely just a parody and wasn't really taken seriously, but it actually IS. This is extraordinary thinking. It's not good enough to say the US is the biggest market or the UK is the biggest market in Europe because that makes no difference overall. It may be true that these regions are the biggest markets but they're more than offset by the accumulation of the others. They're litteraly dismissing hundreds of thousands of sales because of this narrow way of thinking.

6 hours, no Coop, no multiplayer, not even 1080p and 24 frames per second and it's overall just total garbage.

(No idea, the game should be 12 hours at least imo and hopefully have some different difficulties and collectables to create some replayability)
