What did you think about Sony's Pre-TGS Conference?

i would guess they are fine now with GTA5. 32.5 million shipped. and GTA5 next gen coming along. i would also guess Red Dead Redemption 2 is getting close, and its gonna be huge. last one sold 12.5 million. 


I can't wait for Red Dead 2.  The first one was better than GTAV imo

it was. by far. it was soo good that i would pick it over a naughty dog game, possibily, of course. lol.

No, as much as I'd like to, it won't come. Remedy is on its own now, and Rockstar Vancouver closed due to MP3's 4 million sales (they expected much more).

Yeah, although I can't see Rockstar just sitting on a big IP like Max Payne, that said, we've companies do just that, so maybe that's exactly what will happen. I'm more sad that there won't be a new L.A. Noire More whore of the orient will scratch that itch, but it fell under the radar for some time.



So it is happening...PS4 preorder.

I think people are saying that because of the rumours about the Activision buyout said the same thing.

Yeah the last three quarters look good. And the GTAV new gen ports will be a nice money maker for them, although I think Borderlands The Pre-Sequel might be a minor bomb.

GTA won't go down, even if T2 were to go bankrupt. GTA is no danger of disappearing whatsoever, it will be picked up some other publisher immediately, the worst thing that could happen in that regard for us as PS gamers would be MS or Nintendo picking them up.

That wouldn't happen.

But what would be a cause for concern would be the development cycle for these games. Take-Two gives developers a lot of time to make them great. I don't think any other publisher would allow that except for Sony, and unfortunately Sony cannot afford Take-Two.
