You are confusing yourself between what a conference is and a pre-recorded video demonstration is.

In terms of what is shown THIS year

The only difference is "live".

Same show. Same time/date. Same content. Same location.

Better delivery. Option to do more hands-on as physical space in Kodak theater is freed up for hands-on stuff like last year.

It is an E3 conference/presentation/etc.

Last year, like this one, people were right. Its the ones saying stuff like "e3isnt relevant anymore and thats why nintendo are doing this" who are maing up bs excses


While I'm not saying e3 is useless or really making any claim about e3 itself, there is no proof that people were right.  The most you have is correlation.  People are just using e3 as an excuse, as if it is obviously the reason Nintendo is struggling.  

Something I'd like to point out to you... Both Microsoft and Sony did NOT reveal their new consoles at e3 this generation.  Why do you think that is?  It's because there actually isn't any strong evidence to say that e3 actually is as important as people make it out to be.  Nintendo will still be there at e3, but like I already said, no proof that e3 was the reason the Wii U struggled.

Sorry Chunk, but that's just wrong. Do you remember "$399" or "PS4 will support used games" on last years Sony's conference? That is the true power of live.

E3 is about perception and image of the company, and Nintendo is starting to look quite weak (or something else perhaps) by not having live conference 2 years in the row.

Ther truth is that the word conference in the likes of "MS E3 conference", "Ubi E3 conference", "Sony E3 conference", etc, is bullshit. In reality they all are stand-up comedy acts/comedy sketches.
