Misleading title. Even though I agree with the content of what you wrote, misleading

No its not. There is a conference. Just on a different stage.

To have an E3 conference you have to attend E3, which is what you're title suggests.  Although it may be the same effect to people watching a live stream, it still isn't the same

They are attending E3. They have the same booths. Same demos and same employees attending. They are even using the same stage they've almost always used at teh exact same day/time slot for the Smash tournament.

It is the same. Same audience. Same material. Just better delivery.

There's a Nintendo Direct; but it's not a conference. You could even say that the difference is in name only, but they're still not the same thing.

They'll be at E3, yeah. But they won't be on stage presenting their games in the usual manner. It'll be a Direct, which is fine, but you can understand why people say they're not having a conference...

No I can't because in that same room they will be showcasing the games. Viewing the same presentation on screen. Having the same demos.

It is a conference. Just using a better delivery system.

Ha ha ha. Some people refuses to accept reality. Reality is nintendo wont get the limelight in E3. I am starting to wonder why nintendo quit stage show? Lack of cash? Lack of games? Or both?

Lack of 3rd party games would probably be the main reason.

OT: I think this hurts Nintendo's image more than anything. Last E3 they gave off the impression that they weren't competing with Sony and MS by not having a full conference. They were largely ignored in favored of the new consoles from Sony and MS. Same thing could happen again this year.

Sigs are dumb. And so are you!

The hell? Are they or are they not doing a live conference on stage at e3? Or is it another stream like last year? Be straightforward, I dont want nitpicking this or that.

But then you could say that's a group showing of a Direct, as opposed to a conference. There will be no crowd interaction, which is what E3 always gave to me over Directs; atmosphere. I'm sure I'm not the only one either.

Still, I'm looking forward to it eagerly and I'm sure it'll be excellent.

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

You know what, I just realized, its not even a conference.

http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/conference

Its just a pre-recorded video of one person talking about video games that are coming out on Nintendo's systems and showcasing trailers and gameplay footage.

Nintendo is at E3 in the form of a show booth which is just a place where people go to test out game demos, kinda like how they had different best buys with E3 booth games playable.

So no, its not a E3 Conference, its a Nintendo Direct (which is a pre-recorded video) as seen below.

^ Unless there's an actual E3 conference video you can find.

Only difference is "live". Its not one person talking about stuff. Have you not seen the last 3 or 4 directs?

If you're stuck on the label vs the actual content being provided, then at least notice Nintendo label's it as "Nintendo Digital Event".

Also noteworthy is that its at the same day and time slot they've always presented their E3 showcase.

watch out guys,.. incoming E3 conference.

last year, like this one, the complainers were wrong. bolded: good thing no one is saying that. Also good thing everyone including nintendo considers E3 important, that's why nintendo is announcing it's biggest games during E3, LIKE ALWAYS.
