Microtransactions was introduced in uncharted 3 much later. If a game is built on the microsactions base it will be a disaster. Seeing a level 1 player with a lot of perks than you is painful (unless it is F2P game).

As long as it doesn't become pay-to-win I don't really care for microtransactions.

wsome games are getting around this problem by making microtransactions being about comsemtice items, if that is the case here i dont see the problem at all.

AFAIR faster progress and special car deals with cars not unlockable via success but via $$ but I could be wrong.

I think in the end it was like "well, at least it's not so bad because Forza 5 is worse!".


They are very hidden away in GT6, most that play dont even know it has them. Which begs the question why they even bothered.

What do you mean with "very hidden away"? Sony doesn't really want the money from micro-transactions?

As in its an option in the options menu to buy currency, its not listed next to each car or pushed in your face at all.

BTW im not defending it, i boycotted GT6 on the grounds of Macro-transactions and heavily tweeted at Sony execs to take that shit out.

 

I have since seen its not as bad as other games, but im still not buying GT6 this time around.

If you regret your purchase because of microtransactions then trade the PS4 in for an X1. You might want to stay away from Forza 5 and Ryse though

What is this good for? "Well, it's bad but don't think others are any better!" ? This doesn't make it any better...

We all should avoid games with heavy micro-transactions. No one is talking about switching sides or anything, nor is it necessary to drag other consoles in this when this is not necessary.
