360 may dip to the 30s during some intense scripted destruction, but of all the versions it seemed to spend the most time at 60fps. Or maybe I just need to watch the videos again, its been a few months, haha.

And yeah, PS4 Ghosts has some issues in the framerate department; check out the river scene, for instance.

The 360 version does seem to be a little more stable in scenes with little going on, but those dips are pretty huge. The feel X1 version is over all more stable and spends more time at 60 fps or close to it.

The PS4 version actually runs better without the 1080p patch according to a digital foundry video. Not a well optimized game.

It's not really well optimized on any platform.

Apparently on PC it runs and looks like crap even on a super-powerful rig.

If thats in game......damn.

Ghosts was truly an awful game though so we'll see. This years COD needs to impress or I think we're going to see a major drop off for the franchise in sales

Tell me what was so awful about Ghosts without mentioning previous instalments. I bet you can't do it!

-Horrendously bad maps - Stonehaven, Chasm, Siege, Overlord, Free fall. Maps are mostly too big with no flow whatsoever.

-Gun balance is completely off. Assault rifles outclass everything else in the game. Recent patch has made some SMGs a little better, but most other classes are obsolete. MP is dominated by AK12, Mtar and Remington.

-Most killstreaks are lacking both in number and inspiration - Vulture, assault jugg, Loki and most high end streaks are not rewarding at all.

-IEDs - nuff said.

-I won't bother bringing SP into this since unlike others I understand COD is a MP game.  But if I were to comment about SP, it would be one you already have heard before.

I played and enjoyed all COD since COD4, but Ghosts is just a bad COD in its own right without bringing any other previous entires. That is why I'm looking forward to this year's COD since it SH had 3 years to develop it and they have been rather engaged with the community from what I hear.

Black Ops forward started to suck because of the horrendous peer hosted lag compensation system they used.  Titanfall gives me hope.  90% of the matches I've played in that game have felt fair in terms of lag.  I got so sick of being INSTAkilled and rubberbanded in COD MW3, Ghosts, etc...

True dedicated servers to the next COD, else they can suck it.

That rubber banding BS started from Black Ops. In fact I used to call it "Getting Treyarched" whenever I got shot around the corner. MW2 had absolutely beautiful hit detection and lag was a minor issue, but MW3 was just a nightmare in terms of connectivity.

I think Ghosts was a step in the right direction in terms of putting dedis in, but it seems there was some shady stuff going on behind the back about whether dedis are always present. Although the rubber banding is less, that's a lot to do with the engine itself that causes the rubber banding effect rather than just P2P or dedis. So hopefully this year's COD can really improve upon the connectivity given it has had a longer than normal dev time.

I'm pretty tired of "in game" screen shots. It doesn't really show us anything about what the game will look like but people still go around claiming they are gameplay graphics.

Bet with Adamblaziken:

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

Maybe they will get rid of all the shitty killstreaks. CoD4 was perfect. 3 = UAV, 5 = Airstrike, and 7 = Chopper. None of the killstreaks had you going and hiding in a corner and controlling something. For all the killstreaks you pressed right on the d-pad and went back to shooting people. CoD is now about getting your killstreak up and hiding in the corner and let your killstreak reward get all of your kills.

CODS dead to me. So is BF. SP is bad, an now the MP segments are stale an old after playing Titanfall. Poor COD.

The visuals in launch game Ryse blow this COD pic away.

But Selnor, I recall you saying visuals don't make a game fun. This new CoD is made by brand new guys and they've had 3 years, instead of the usual 2 year dev time! Graphics don't equal fun!

That seems weird to me.  I was running a GTX 670 when the game was released and easily doing 60fps at 1440p.

Really? Well, I wasn't speaking from experience, just anecdotes. I've heard a few PC players complain that it's badly optimized.
