MKWii, it took everything that was good with MKDS and either made it worse, or removed it outright. I won't say I really miss snaking, but it made the whole game casualised. More luck. Then the mission mode didn't return. The online was better, at least in the start, before it was run down by hackers too. And don't get me started on the lackluster battle modes, forced teams etc.

The only thing that was good in MKWii were the tracks, and they were really good too. But the rest of the game was disappointing.

I have to go with the SNES one. I played the played 64 before Super. Really hard to go 2-D after that. however I was surprised when I went back to the 64 and realized it hadn't aged as well as I thought it would. best battle mode I think though.

I haven't played the SNES, GBA, or DS games.

With that said:

MK64 > MKW > MKDD > MK7

The HH thing didn't work for Mario Kart IMO.

Not being funny. The game sucked.

Super Circuit, but it was still pretty good.

The most disappointing is 7, which had one of the best course designs but every other decision for the game did not bode well with me and ruined a lot of it for me.

I predict 8 will easily beat the Wii version as my favorite, though as long as they keep single player VS mode.

Best to worst of the games I played:

1. Mario Kart Wii
2. Super Mario Kart
3. Mario Kart 64
4. Mario Kart: Double Dash!!

I own all MK games except for MK64, which I have only played once. If I had to choose one, I would choose Super Circuit as my least favorite.
