I highly doubt Iwata will be axed. However if they are I'd love to see Reggie elevated. That guy could make an epic face for Nintendo and with control of the company he could finally say more and market things more. I know this won't happen because Nintendo would never have a non Japanese leader I don't think.

It should be an outside hire, probably somebody from the west or at least has western experience that would shake things up (not talking going mobile strategy, but somebody willing to invest in new ips and such). However, it would most likely be whoever is next in line and will stay the course.
