Forums - Sony - Sony’s E3 Press Conference Will Be a “Tight Fit,” Will Have a Decent Mix of Genres According to Sony Dev

From Sony Im expecting to see Uncharted, The Order 1886, DriveClub and The Last Guardian. Additional reveals from Santa Monica, Media Molecule, Guerrilla Games and Polyphony Digital. SSM are rumored to be working on a new IP though I think its up in the air after layoffs. Media Molecule are probably working on LBP3. Guerrilla Games are working on a new IP, rumored to be an RPG. Polyphony Digital are probably working on GT7: Prologue. On top of all this, Im expecting to see Quantic Dreams PS4 game.

That's stupidly optimistic. They will probably just get on stage and announce some more layoffs.

One serious question.

Why are Sony going to show so many 3rd party games? COD, KH3, FF15 etc. Microsoft have already said they cant fit all their Exclusive stuff into their 90 min show. I thought generally speaking E3 conference was to show stuff you could ONLY get on PS/XB/Wiiu?

1. Despite the layoffs sony still has more quality AAA studios than microsoft has.

2. Microsoft has said, but we havent seen what actually they will show. And same applies for sony. You are shooting in the blind before anything has been announced.

Fair enough. Lets wait for E3 I guess. Hopefully forr us all niether company wastes time on 3rd party games. That wont bee good for reasons to buy a console.

People buy consoels for Third party games mroe then exclusives.

Don't let S.T.A.G.E hear this...

Ehh Im not so sure.

We know from this Tweet that Santa Monica and Media Molecule should have something to show, at least a trailer. Im not 100% sure on SSM because of the layoffs, but Media Molecule's last console game was 2011. Despite them doing Tearaway, Im fairly confident they will have been working on the PS4 game alongside it.

Guerrilla Games have been working on the new IP for over 2 Years now. Surely they have to be ready to show it off.

I think the only questionable reveals would be GT7: Prologue, The Last Guardian and whatever the guys at Quantic Dream are doing. Even then, Id expect at least 1 of them to show up, hopefully followed by the imminent closure of Team ICO.

Stop with the leaks now, you wont be able to win E3 if everything is known about before hand.

By the way I like a tight fit.

How much time will the Vita get in the press conference? More or less than the 1:23 minutes of last year?

I think you know the answer to that question.

It's going to be another disappointing E3 this year, but that won't stop people from getting their hopes up.

You wont be saying this when Agent blows your socks off.

Sweet bring on wonder book 2 twilight edition

I'm expecting:

Uncharted 4 gameplay reveal
The Last of Us PS4
Gran Turismo 6 PS4
Media Molecule's new project, might be LittleBigPlanet3
God of War IV
Demon's Souls 2
Indie announcements
3rd party games like Destiny and Assassins Creed Unity
And maybe about 12 seconds for the Vita

Sigs are dumb. And so are you!

Sounds too much like Microsofts conferences last gen. This worries me.

They would be stupid to rule out shooters, the are still the biggest sellers. Who writes this drivel.

People watching E3 conference streams are most likely a core audience that plays more than one genre.

Plus publishers will give us a lot of shooter footage anyway.
