Indeed, the best combo is PC+Nintendo, no doubt about it.

What about the numerous Japanese games that aren't released on PC?

What about numerous games that aren't released on consoles? Who the hell do you think was proposing one size fits all solution.

OP would make logical sense if Sony stopped making fresh new exclusive IPs.

It is hard to pass up a Sony console with all the 1st party exclusives.

OP is crazy. Made a thread about people that are not interested in Microsoft and Sony first party games. I mean is that even possible, crazy OP.

No but seriously thread is not aimed at people who are into 1st party games on competing platforms or niche japanese anime games that only show up on Playstation.

you put your head in the sand and act like they dont exist, that seems to work for some.

Is that what people do when it comes to Nintendo games. Shove their head in the sand and act like they don't exist. Thanks for your wonderful condescending feedback in this thread. You never go out of character. I got to give you that.

ANd you've yet to answer the man's question. Why dont you start with that? Some people dont care for Ninty games. Sales for the systems show that. Now could you say the same for whatever doesnt come to Ninty systems or PC? Sure you can, but thats a much wider net IMHO.

The above person was speaking in absolutes. I was merely pointing out that there is no perfect combo.

Hell the entire fighting game genre seems so miss PC and Ninty home consoles. Thats a whole damn genre.

That's an exaggeration at best... Street Fighter IV (every version except the original Super), Street Fighter X Tekken, the first BlazBlue, and King of Fighters XIII Climax are on PC, as well as the reboot of Mortal Kombat and Injustice (this latter one also on WiiU). Then, there's also many doujin/indie fighters as well, such as Vanguard Princess, Yatagarasu, Ougon Musou Kyoku, Melty Blood,  etc.

As I mentioned before, there's some very good signs of Japanese developers willing to support PC, and the use of multiplatform engines makes it easier than ever. For example, not too long ago, the idea of getting a Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm on PC was unthinkable, and yet it happened with 3 Full Burst. And now that we know that Guilty Gear Xrd is using the Unreal Engine 3, the odds of that getting a PC port down the line are quite good.

And as far as Nintendo platforms goes, Tekken Tag Tournament 2 is on WiiU, Tatsunoko VS Capcom is a Wii exclusive, Guilty Gear XX AC and AC Plus are on Wii, and 3DS got their own versions of Dead or Alive, Tekken and SSFIV.

Sure, you don't get every game out there, but that was obviously not the point of the thread. The idea here is to consider PC as an alternative to compensate the lack of WiiU's 3rd party support. It's directed at Nintendo fans, and those who don't care about Sony/Microsoft games. If you don't fit this criteria, then it's not for you. And just like there's people that can ignore Nintendo's lineup and the 3rd party exclusives for 3DS and WiiU, the same applies to Sony/Microsoft. Let's not try to pretend otherwise please.

no its not, wow you get ONE version of Street Fighter 4 on PC, thats great. Where's SUper, Ultra? SFxT, fine. The first BlazBLue? WOw, where are the rest where on like 5 now. KOF13? when on steam? what country? WHere's Tekken? Wheres Virtua Fighter? the Vs. series? the Persona fighter? Dead or ALive? where are the BIG dawgs of fighters?

Yes im aware of those games on Wii systems, but lets be real, those games are spinoffs at best, its better than Nothing BUT where were the big dawgs? As a fighting game fan I want to play the actual games, not some crap Capcom, Tecmo, Namco slapped together and threw it out there in hope of some sales. (no disrepect to TTT2 for Wii U that was actually good). For right now, in terms of support the PS and Xbox systems have been getting the brunt of it. Kind of hard to argue that.

But its not a compesation because you are still missing a lot of stuff, that was my point. But hey it depends on the person if you are cool with missing a bunch of games, then thats fine. Most people arent. and sales show it. Its not like people care about SOny games so much you think PS2 and 1 flew off the shelves because of 1st party? nope it did becasue it got the best support period. from EVERYONE, WW ANd i dont see that changing anytime soon.

I have a better way. I bought a PS3 now, after my WiiU. And got PS+. And what can I say - not only can I play the games, I get them without additional cost over PS+. I also can already get PS4-games oer PS+ and will accumulate them until next gen. I think I will buy a Ps4 then as I buy the next Nintendo console, and can play all the games without additional cost. That is OK.
