I've only played 3 and 4. I preferred 3.

I had the most fun with Halo 3, but I haven't played all of them.

Halo 4's MP is to boring and inconsistent. I prefer Halo 1, 2, and 3's MP where you could time weapon drops and pick up Overshield or Camo, instead of spawning with those things right off the bat. It made the game much more competitive when you had to fight for the power weapons or power ups. Also a competitive rank system like the 1-50 was awesome, people actually tried to win instead of the new system where you don't even have to play and still can rank up.

Not to mention loadouts, I can be on a killing frenzy and my loadout will be a needler, while you have a measly killing spree and get the rockets. Halo 4 is all sorts of messed up.

Halo Wars was my favorite haven't had that much fun with a RTS since Tiberium Sun.

I love this. Really shows you the diversity in the Halo fanbase.

When we rank our favorites, everybody has a different list. Simply amazing.

I picked Halo 4. It was the most effort put into the campaign:

- CGI cutscenes, where as Bungie used in-game graphics.
- Direct integration with Halo novels, where as Bungie butchered the Fall of Reach novel.
- Deeper character developments with Chief and Cortana
- I personally love the Didacts portrayal, especially after reading about him in the novels.

Imo 3 had the best multiplayer mostly due to custom games and forge but it had the worst campaign in the serires to me.
