Is it really happening my fellow gamers? Last generation all 5 consoles sold very well, this generation only two of them are finding strong success, one is doing decently, and the other two are sinking harder than the Titanic. With smartphones and tablets on the rise, and Amazon, Steam, and Apple all jumping into the business, it seems the market is about to get more and more fragmented with so many options to choose from. Just like what happened when happened in the early 80s when their were a million consoles to choose from. How can we sustain this business?

The big three seem to have made their plans for the future already. Sony is jumping into streaming, Microsoft is creating an entertainment hub, and Nintendo is trying to do fitness. Is this where it all ends?

Sigs are dumb. And so are you!

Nope. Consoles will rule for at least next two or three gens. Its handheld that is dead. And nintendo was a fad last gen. PS4 and Xbox One are doing great.

What happened to handhelds could easily happen to consoles. It might even be happening now.

No, we will see a new generation of consoles in 5 years. 4 in the case of Nintendo.

I am not denying that. But it will take time to happen. This is why I mentioned consoles will rule for at least next two or three gens.

Nope. And your poll sucks.

Nope. Nintendo and MS confirmed they are making 9th gen consoles, and Sony is bound to make PS5 after the success of PS4.

Stop looking at the freaking sell numbers. So long it's profitable for Nintendo, Microsoft and Sony they won't stop.

Once you entered you won't be the same anymore. A blog about life.

"¡Viva la Ñ!"

Nope.

With the introduction of VR to go along with Camera/Motion gaming, things are just getting started.
