It never seemed like it was meant to be a masterpiece, really. What little i saw of this game gave an impression of a B-flick horror movie.

Doesn't quite merit a score THAT low, but it wasn't really shooting for the stars.

Team Ninja died when they shifted focus to the ridiculously unnecessary ''sigma'' series. Ninja Gaiden II was a fucking beast of a game. They fucked it all up after that.

Doesn't help that Itagaki is not with them either.

Ninja Gaiden on the orignal Xbox was the best followed by ninja gaiden black. After that they went downhill . However it looks fun. The main complaint seems to be the difficulty . NO game has match the skills of the original ninja gaiden in terms of hack and slash genre.
