If you have to assure people you're honest, chances are you're not. People never doubt the honesty of honest people, hence honest people don't have to promise to be open and honest.

Short, sweet and to the point. Someone should tell Microsoft about this.

Got to start somewhere. I am listening MS.

My first question for MS would be: " Why is Rare such a big joke nowadays?"

No, the plan is to say to fan that they will be honest while they will allow their employee and goverment to spy on you...

I still doubt them. I remember how arrogant they were during Xbox One reveal. They cancelled E3 post press conference. Its quite impossible to change your philosophy in a month. I still distrust them.

Don Mattrick is gone. Kinect was his baby so I'd expect a unbundling in 2015 possibly. It is VERY possible to change your philosophy in a month. It is called adapting to market conditions. But its been almost a year......that is like several months. Plenty extra time then one measely month.

Side question: MS was never trusted in gaming. They stopped Xbox after 4 years and RROD.....and this is what makes you distrust them? Long story short......MS is simply learning as they go.

MS doesn't live in a Vacuum, they have 30 something years of history to learn from, not to mention the 10 they were involved in.

Their 30 years was mostly enjoying a monopoly and buying out the competition. Sooooo as much as I would like them to excerise their experience on Sony in the gaming space, they are forced to play legit in the meantime.

Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

He reminds of Saul Goodman.

'If you’re committed enough, you can make any story work. I once told a woman I was Kevin Costner, and it worked because I believed it.'

If it benefits them to lie, they're going to lie. This is called "PR bullshit". Some companies are more honest than others, but Microsoft has proven that you are nothing but a dollar sign to them.

Currently playing:

Bloodbath Paddy Wagon Ultra 9

It's basically everyone at Microsoft spouting fallacies and lies, and then Phil Spencer comes in and corrects them. Seriously though. Spencer is one of the only Xbox people that I still respect.
