That would be literally the dumbest decision capcom could do. I'm still a fan of RE and this would certainly rustle my jimmies.

It would be suicide for Resident Evil in Japan. Also, Sony is advertising Destiny as having exclusive content for the PS3 and PS4, not trying to make it look like it was purely exclusive. Microsoft did the same with Titanfall, advertising the crap out of the One version when there were two other versions available as well.

They did actually.
It didn't work (though to be fair, MH does not sell very well on consoles, MH is a handheld franchise).

Because it's Resident Evil ;) Residen Evil has a huge fanbase :)
It's probably a browser exclusive.
