Unless nintendo do something different for its games (as spurgeonryan suggested) all nintendo games might follow this type of scores.

The fact that review embargo lift after the release is telling.
"Hardware design isn’t about making the most powerful thing you can.
Today most hardware design is left to other companies, but when you make hardware without taking into account the needs of the eventual software developers, you end up with bloated hardware full of pointless excess. From the outset one must consider design from both a hardware and software perspective."

I've never been interested in this game but I will wait for more reviews before finalizing me opinion...
PS: Embargo is supposed to lift at some point today. Dtoid said that it would be posting its review today...I just don't remember when
hehehehe..... considering that this is Edge, it´s expected. Too bad Edge lost a lot of its relevance today.
If you're interested in Nintendo content and understand german, maybe you want to take a look at my youtube channel! :)
Graphics always looked terrible to me.. Also, the Metascore isn't horrible for Yoshi. I mean, Yoshi's Story doesn't have a great score either.

I know how you feel, but then over 90 % of the studios that are not Nintendo are shovelware studios :P
I thought LM2 felt like a Nintendo game, but with western influences maybe? At least it was thousand times better than NSMB. The multiplayer in LM2 was really, really fun too, me and my friends still play it...
Yep.
