It needs to be the right price, with the right support. Im not 100% sure that Sony are capable of doing it.

The truth is, right now, VR technology is just a big question mark. It may be cool "on paper" but when people start to use it, will they feel ok with it? Will it be just like 3D , a trend that faded fast? Who knows ?

I, myself, doesn´t feel excited about VR, at least not as I felt in the early 90´s
