I want a Virtaul Boy emulator for the PS4. make it happen.
I just realized that I said that I'm concerned about the price...While over $500 in sim racing stuff sits in front of my PS3...I'm an idiot.
Bet with Adamblaziken:
I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

A new myst tho.....
Question! Would a 3d VR headset work? Like...just have the glasses built right into the headset...VR gives you a great field of view but doesn't really help with depth...so 3D seems like a natural next step.

Which glasses? Which next step? VR sets already use stereoscopic views
Each eye gets its own video stream, slightly different perspectives for the 3D effect.

Space Sims are also perfect match for VR.

True that also there could be a new resurgence of survival horror adventures. I was wrong all is in the hand of devs to use VR hardware I just don't think it works well with current genres like FPS but devs could create new genres fit for VR.

Indeed. My view on the whole thing is that it works best with games where your character is moving via some vehicle, preferably sitting. That is what you do anyway when you're playing the game, so there is much less discrepancy between yours and your avatar's body. That's why I see sims as best match for VR at this stage of development (of course, patiently waiting for holoband like tech from Caprica ;)
I love the idea of VR, but I don't know if many games will support it.
I can definitely see a lot of the indie game developers that Sony have been supporting develop some unique experiences for the headset to increase its library. Once there's a decent amount of people adopting the device, bigger devs might just in.
