Never subscribed to xbox live despite having a 360 because I could online game on my ps3, wii and pc. Same will be true of xbox one when I get one a few years from now. I will subscribe to psn when I get my ps4 because of all the added value to my ps3 and vita too. If I'd paid £40 a year for xbox live since getting a 360 in 2006 that would have been enough to buy a ps4 now. All these small payments do add up over time and it doesn't represent good value.

I have ps+ on my PSV/PS3/PS4 I need to renew this August. Good to know that there are deals out there.

I haven't paid full price for XBL in years. MS have yearly deals on XBL on the dashboard, last few years I have used that. In 2010 I think it was 3 extra months, 2011 an extra 1200MSP and in 2012 it was half price.

I hate anything related to Xbox.......except those Kinect sex games! :)

Using Live actually saves me money so I don't mind the price. There are always sales though.

Never been a problem for me and especially now, when I get to keep two free games per month, it is a great value. Also, MS are the best at delivering a stable server solution making my online experience really great.

Yeap like j Allard I get way more back than I pay for... And I'm glad we have to pay... Part of that revenue stream is exactly what gave MS a reason to develop 300k servers we'll get to use on xbox one... Anybody buying multiplat game on ps4 for mp this time around is just silly... Unless he/she is a graphic whore... And even then it's MP we are talking about not site seeing...

If you're paying the full 60 for XBL then you're doing it wrong.

I don't live in the US, so get to pay more for far less features. No thanks. I had gold on xbox and a year on 360, but hardly played online so I didn't see the point of keeping it.
And now I already have ps+ 15 months for $50 with too many games to play. Don't need another subscription.

Yeah I hate it. Xbox Live offers absolutely nothing that justifies it's 59.99 price, even at 39.99 it's still not worth the price tag.
