I pay full price for both. No problem.

All I'm saying is that it isn't priced badly for what you get. Also I'm not talking about last gen, I'm talking about this gen where you will be paying it anyway unless you go PC. Sorry if my poor wording (and I admit, I came off smug) gave you the wrong impression of my intent.
xbox live is very cheap in my opinion so no , price doesn't matter

No offense taken at all don't wory mate :) But yeah to someone who doesn't really play online I'm fairly sure only the multiplayer gaming on the ps4 requires the psn+ account still, things like netflix and youtube are not behind a paywall just yet.

Heck no its not satire... I'd take a top of the line azure server global infrastructure for 30bucks a year plus all the other discounts/ free game/ free points I get over PS+ MP solution or even over PC dedicated servers... Not only MP has never been on par on PS3 and 360 EVER I had 5 years of log comparison from my router back in college to support it with unquestionable doubt... And this Gen there is no way Sony or third parties come even close to MS infrastructure... And even if they would (which they won't) the principal alone of non dedicated azure servers allows way more possibilities on the long term than anything else even on PC gaming using other solution...
so yeah 30 bucks a year... Recouping that cost with discounts/ rewards / and even gwg makes it even more an u debatable no brainer for any serious MP player... It's like arguing a buy one get one free deal imo...

For that price (suggesting you dont already have a ps console or pc) its not bad. The only problem is that not having it takes away practically everything including the internet browser xD

I hate paying to play online full-stop. Ironically though I find PS+ to be good value on the PS3. It's a service I pay for happily for the games.
That is the main reason I never picked up a 360. Why spend the money on live for a secondary console that'll only get used every now and again? Although...I might still pick one up if we get a price cut around E3...
Bet with Adamblaziken:
I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

If the price of the system is what was putting you off you should just take a look for a pre owned version of the console now, Pawn shops here are selling some versions of the 360 for under 100euros and you can get some of the best 360 games for ridiculously low price since a lot of the best sellers have tons of copies floating around, I seen gears 1,2+3 together in gamestop for 12euros, the end of the Gen is definately a good time to consider swooping in and getting some games that you missed out on.

Meh, I buy them on sale. It doesnt bug me of the price, it bugs me its no where near as good as PS+ with the free games every month and everything is behind the paywall on xbo. And if you do get one its something thats been out forever. If there isnt a compelling reason for a multiplayer game around xmas time this year, I most likely will not renew gold for next year until there is a reason.
