Thread subject isn't "can you afford X a year" it's do you hate the price of it. I could perfectly afford to pay 50euros  to be allowed to watch youtube on my TV using the Xbox360, I can equally turn on my Wii or Ps3 and do the same thing for free. Or do you not see eye to eye with that comment?

All I'm saying is that it isn't priced badly for what you get.  Also I'm not talking about last gen, I'm talking about this gen where you will be paying it anyway unless you go PC.  Sorry if my poor wording (and I admit, I came off smug) gave you the wrong impression of my intent.

No offense taken at all don't wory mate :) But yeah to someone who doesn't really play online I'm fairly sure only the multiplayer gaming on the ps4 requires the psn+ account still, things like netflix and youtube are not behind a paywall just yet.
