Too bad this kind of mentality is why wii u is in trouble...

well its the correct mentality, its logical that people want to play their favourite multiplatform games to their maximum capability.

its nintendo's fault that wii didnt match ps360 and wii U cant match PS4/X1 on the intensive games. Its their job to adjust to consumers, not the consumers job to adjust to nintendo.

thats very obvious and im ok with it (sort of). I wish to have at least more diversity of genres, seriously i like platforms but man we are talking about 10+ titles in just 1 year S=

Doesn't mean I don't support good 3rd party efforts.
...but yes

Same here, I bought the console because I like Nintendo games, but it is my main console, so I buy most of my games for it, I already have more than 11 third party games.

Not all Nintendo fans are like this, but it's really shame because the third party support it's almost dead due to this mentality.

My bet with The_Liquid_Laser: I think the Switch won't surpass the PS2 as the best selling system of all time. If it does, I'll play a game of a list that The_Liquid_Laser will provide, I will have to play it for 50 hours or complete it, whatever comes first.

3rd Party support hasn't been somewhat strong since N64. Also, Nintendo consoles is the only place to get Nintendo games. Most multiplats on Wii U are missing features and runs worse than the others. XB360/XB1 and PS3/PS4 is mostly about 3rd Party games, with the occasional 1st Party support.

Nope. I bought a DS, about 7 different on it (until it was stolen) and not a single was nintendo owned. Exclusive to the DS yes, but no marios no zeldas, no metroids, no kirbys.

Better yet, i bought a black Wii simply to play Xenoblade Chronicles. No zeldas, no marios, no metroid, no kirbys. Your argument is invalid because I am the 1%.

It's impossible to have new console with $199 launch price.

NES, SNES, N64, GCN and more

http://vgsales.wikia.com/wiki/Launch_price

Adjusted for inflation:

NES = $434

SNES = $343

N64 = $298

GameCube = $264

$200 was a lot of money in 1985.

Yes, but you know as well as I do that a WiiU sans gamepad could be retailing for $200 right now.

I bought a wii u for smash, Zelda, Mario, metroid, and Mario kart. But I also bought it to play games between these games that would have me saying wow this system is awesome. Now I just want anything. If not I will jump back on to the other systems I have. I would like it though if some third party put something out to help pull me in more and make me feel nintendo is not just the me company.

You would have to be an idiot to purchase a nintendo console and not get nintendo games. I mean what would you play?

A better question would be do you think nintendo games would still sell as much if they had the fierce competition from 3rd parties like how sony and microsoft do?

Nobody's perfect. I aint nobody!!!

Killzone 2. its not a fps. it a FIRST PERSON WAR SIMULATOR!!!! ..The true PLAYSTATION 3 launch date and market dominations is SEP 1st
