People know the risks of early adoption, and electronics are probably the worst sector for this kind of stuff.

Only thing the article gets right is calling it desperate. Last I heard PS4 was already 200k ahead despite stock issues (Amazon isn't getting new bundles until March 25, which is ridiculous) whereas the X1 has never had any shortages in the UK. This might give them a bump, but I'd be surprised if it changed anything long term.

Haste makes waste, simple as that.

I bought my PS3 when it was $250 and bundled with Uncharted 2 and GoW3. Maybe everyone should just wait a few years for great deals.

I got my X1 at launch and I don't feel screwed because I wanted instant gratification and I got it.

as an early adopter you should be willing to take a certain amount of risk..

...that said, 3 months is really quick. maybe MS should make titanfall a free download to all xbone owners for 1-week. i think that would be an acceptable "ambassador program".

People who bought it early knew what they were getting into especially with all the bad press the x1 has had. They have no one to blame. This is the same as those who bought a ps4 at launch then whine everyday not enough games. Don't buy without researching.
