Oh man, every price-cut is only beneficial for new buyers. This really is making a story out of nothing.
Still seems like a desperate move, though.
That's one of the drawbacks of adopting early. Price cuts, bundles, smaller or updated console versions, design updates and improvements. Early adopters always take these chances when they purchase the consoles right out of the gate.
Many gamers are inpatient. Those who are patient can and should reap the rewards.
Microsoft is looking to boost sales. I don't blame them.
Xbox users are used to it, they will defend this

it's just a 29 pound price drop and people that bought it first day have been playing with the console for more than two months now so don't be harmful

Too bad the price cut it's not happening in territories like Germany and France where a price cut seriously needs to happen ( Wii U is doing better than the Xbox One in France)

MS knocking 10% off the price of the X1 is somehow an insult to people who wanted the system on day one. Really, have gamers become so greedy??
Console not selling well in part of the world, Company response is to pack in a game and do a slight price drop. When Sony did this with the PS3 where there crying in the streets from PS gamers. What I find sad is the babyish whining.
Really, if people are so loyal, then a 10% price cut is nothing. If the price cut was 100 bones then you might have something but IMHO, you still live with your choice to be the first.
As an early adopter you should know what you're getting into. It may take some time for software to arrive in greater quantities, all system features might not be ready yet and price drops (both official and unofficial) could arrive at any time.
Being an early adopter means paying a premium price for the privilege of being there from the start. If you can't accept that then don't buy consoles at or near launch. Simple as that.

Xbox got a price cut like three weeks after the launch in Europe..
Anyway the same people who say it sucks for the early adopters were also the ones who say it needs a pricecut =p.
