The downloads must have been in a good number for Nintendo to offer this pack.
Will japanese gamers bite one more time?
WiiSports was THE system seller and the only single reason for casual players to ever own a console. But to the uninformed average customer, it may look like you have to play on tablet only and cannot connect your TV, how should they know?
On the Box, there should be a picture of a family or party situation in front of a TV to get the uninformed average customer buy a Wii U and everyone should know that it is a new HD capable console competing with PS4 and X1.
However, this is the first step into the right direction, the Wii U could have been a sucess if this would have been included and heavily marketed on release day. Hopfully they will shrink or drop the tablet at E3 and cut the price.
Cool idea, but seems odd not to wait until the last 2 titles are released. It is a pretty fun game overall, Motion Plus does a good job of making each game feel a bit more responsive & fun to play.

Wow. This is funny. So Nintendo is now hoping that last gens phenom will assist them now, despite the fact that the very point of the Wii U was to run away from those kinds of games, run away from the Wii Remote. Its not even a new game, just the same game with added internet connectivity, lol. That doesn't make you guys laugh?

Granted, but I'm wondering what this means moving forward? Will they half ass it like they did with NSMBU? Half ass it with Wii Sports club? Or will they actually start pursuing this direction completely? Will we see a true Wii Sports Sequel?

Why on earth are they even doing that? This is gonna have the same massive impact as Wii Fit U did, have they learned nothing at all in the last 2-3 years? It's starting to get absolutely ridiculous, yet I can still hear the old "Nintendo know what they're doing" choir in my head.
It can help the Wii U sell maybe around 10,000 units weekly in Japan.
