Wii Sports didn't sell bookoos on it's own, I don't see why this should help all too much.
I don't have a lot of faith in this.

Wii Sports did sell the Wii on its own for a long period of time.
But that was 2006 and fads fizzle out ... that's the bigger problem.
The first time you play Wii Sports, its special. The 5000th time eight years later ... it becomes bland and old hat.

I guess you could say it sold well enough, but now there's no chance it'll sell systems as well. Not only for what you've said, but also because I doubt they'll market it well enough and I'm wondering if they already had it offered for Free in Japan like they did in NA. That would totally kill it.

They did market Wii Sports Club in North America anyway. I saw more Wii Sports Club commercials with Andre Aggassi over the holidays than I have any Nintendo marketing for anything since like the Wii-era.
Gaming fads have a decent shelf life, but they fade out like any other fad.

That's where casuals are at right now.

This is the commercial. I saw it probably about 7 or 8 times last holiday, on different channels no less ... which is basically a miracle for a Nintendo commercial, lol.

you can buy them permanently for $10 each. this bundle comes with them pre downloaded.
Why does Nintendo keep trying to sell WiiUs with these fads that died off years ago. Nobody is going to buy a WiiU to play something that they got bored of 5 years ago.
