OT: No, wii u doesn't need to share its better attractives. It should remain exclusive at least until the console is "not doomed".

They already said it would be difficult to port it to the 3DS, it just doesn't have the hardware power to handle it.

The next Nintendo portable IMO will get versions of DKC: TF, Pikmin 3, Zelda U, Mario Kart 8, etc. as a way for Nintendo to make more money off those games because they're not going to sell what Nintendo wants on the Wii U alone.

And that portable IMO is coming as a new third pillar in fall 2015 anyway so I think that will work out fine.

Wait for 3Ds and the wii U sucessor.
They launched DKCR3D only when wii U was released.
so, wii was a outdated console.

It'll be a harder port than DKCR due to the power gap between the Wii U and the 3DS being significantly larger than that of the Wii and the 3DS. That isn't to say that it can't be done, but if they're going to port a game, wouldn't there be better ones to port? Mario Sunshine comes to mind.

Of course... if you noticed, Nintendo has done this with every version of DKC going back to the SNES days.
