The EU is already in the process of legislating digital distribution. Their laws actually state consumers should be able to resell their content when they're finished with it and it may become a requirement that Steam/PSN/XBL/eShop etc create a license marketplace or something to enable customer to exchange their software.

Good on the Brits. Now the rest of EU and the US needs to adopt this as well.

On a sidenote, I didnt know there was no money back guarantee with Steam. Bit dubious if you ask me though I guess they probably would tend to return people's money as I havent heard many issues regarding this.

No, I don't support this.

Consumers should stop supporting developers making buggy software or do research on a game before making a purchase.

I want the government as far away from gaming as possible. It won't end well.

On the other hand developers should actually test games, DLC and patches thoroughly before theyre put onto the market.

Its not something that can be fixed by one party alone. You cant just expect every consumer to do research on every piece of software they fancy. If someone is spending good money on a product they want it to be either worth the cost or in some cases, actually working as it should be.
