So it is happening...PS4 preorder.

Slow down that hype train folks. I don't think any of the consoles are going to reach the kinds of heights of last gen. And I don't think PS4 will come anywhere close to PS1/2 levels either.

Keep in mind that PS2 stayed on the market long past it's experation date (so to speak), due to PS3 selling so sluggishly for it's first couple years.

Get real, the pad is way mediocre its something that you would find on a 50 product for a child in toys r us, ipad mini lol in your dreams.
How the hell do you even come up with such utter BS!!!! ?
i think it's too soon to have such a statement. It depend on the support of Sony and the other third party

I think its best to look at the balance sheet in these circumstances rather thn a snapshot of selective data: So, from the BALANCE SHEET Cash, cash equivalents and short term investments: March 2011: $19.99bn March 2012: $19.14bn March 2013: $16.17bn (huge drop) Almost $4bn burned through in 2 years. Net tangible assets: (true measure after taking into account assets, liabilities and stockholder equity) March 2011: $20.3bn March 2012: $11.5bn March 2013: $10.9bn Net tangible assets have halved in 2 years, dropped by $20bn
There are real reasons for downgrades and the share price collapse. Despit popular opinio here, it isn't some nasty conspiracy.

Ah well, at least they're not looking to sell off their Playstation brand, so they must be doing something right ![]()
Not impossible for it to beat the PS2, but hard to do as of now. Still if any console is going to, it will be this one.

Can you give a measure of how the stock has collapsed? In the last year, last few months or so?
And the 3DS could become the best selling handheld of all time.

I highly doubt it'll sell anywhere close to PS2 levels... It'd be a stretch for me to even consider PS1 levels at this point.
