I don't think the Japan government would let a company as big as Sony go bankrupt. That would lose 100k+ jobs. Besides, Sony has a lot of assets they can sell off. They already got rid of the PC line, now it's time to get rid of the TV division. 

Im not going to speak as if i know much about the japanese government or what they would do but yes i do believe it is time to get rid of their TV division.  I guess we can see if the restructured TV division will make an impact or not.

Let's face it, PS2 being extremely easy to hack boosted it's success. PS4 will sell really nice, but I don't think there will be almost 160.000.000 units sold by the end of it's life, probably not even for a long shot.

It's now at 49%? So that's a 20% change it seems. I wouldn't read too much into it. The website does state that over 90% indicates a "good" chance of bankruptcy...

I don't think they'll top the PS2 unless they're able to pull in the casual crowd. I'm not sure if they have anything planned which can accomplish that.
