I don't think Sony is going bankrupt anytime soon, they are making the right decisions now. As for PS4, it will top 100 millions easily, but not going to be the best-selling console ever.

Playstation could survive as a spin off brand even the rest of Sony dies
I predict NX launches in 2017 - not 2016

What does "probably" mean ? 80-90% chance of it happening? or less?
Why do you think they will go bankrupt?

Holy crapola, is this a reputable source?
OT: I doubt they'll go bankrupt this soon (Well... the thing above me is kind of frightening), and I expect 30 Million or so over the next two years. That's with really rough predicting though.
Nope, it won't come close to the PS2, for the following reasons...
1: The PS2 didn't have much competition
2: The PS2 had a year and a half lead on the competition.
3: It was a heckuva lot cheaper than the PS4 ($299 dropped to $199 not too long after the GC launched).
4: The home console market in Japan isn't as strong as it was during the PS1/2 days.
5: PS2 had a virtual monopoly on 3rd party franchises and exclusives... no longer the case.

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.

Yes, Macroaxis is a popular investment tool. However Sony is going to do everything in their power for this not to happen, so my guess is they will be around in 2 years thankfully. Good news is their gaming division is doing much better than what it was doing early on with the PS3. Bad news is, theyre still forecasting a 1.1b loss thanks to their other divisions, which will be putting them even further into debt along with their credit rating being classified as "Junk". Their gaming division i dont believe can keep a company as big as Sony alive on its own so sony will need their other divisions to do much better. Though i cant say which divisions are doing good and which ones are doing bad as i realyl only care about their gaming division. I just know their TV division is horrible thanks to their over-priced products. We will need to see how they restructured their TV division to see if it makes an impact.
