I got my details of the World by the several trailers they have showed over the course of nearly a decade. And if I;m not allowed to go off of that, then why are you alloud to, lol. Double standard much? Also expand on faster paced, battle actions are far faster as well as World exploration is far faster in X. (unless you meant neither of those things, as I said I need clarification.)
All those things you say about FF XV... You take them out of your ass. Limited explorable areas? Looks like XIII? Compared to X?
Please, do elaborate. I could enjoy a good laugh from someone who's clearly swallowing an other brand's gravy.
See any XV trailer ever. PS: It's easier to do with S-E's balls out of your face.
Hey, I'm all ears. You're the one bringing it up. Go. Do elaborate.Don't be a coward.
You really want to do this, lol. Fine. Stop me when you see a massive open sand box World or multiplayer. Lol.
Yeah, no sandbox open World, no multiplayer of any sort, in fact all I see mostly is a lot of rooms and closed off streets. I guess there was that one grassy area, but with no map we can pretty much conclude there will be no getting lost in there, lol. (It is a Final Fantasy after all).
Then let's talk about the battle scenes. An ARPG with the standard attack, item, summon, art, magic, and teleport (not all of there can be used at all times). The characters seem to be limited to using one weapon (though of course you can get better weapons as the game goes on).
Monolithsoft has character sword/gun, mech sword/gun/rocket, arts, items, link attacks, magic. Thes two share pretty much the same things, with X being more in depth with multiple weapons and mechs available which can fight on ground or in the air.
Hopefully the crummy colors are due to this being a sunset battle, and daytime environments and enemies will be as vibrant and colorful as they were in Xenoblade.
Though I'm fully expecting them to accept this whole grey, washed-out look the first teaser also sported, as seemingly every piece of geometry is draped in normal maps with shadows going towards black.
"But isn't that what this next-gen that you kids have been talking up is all about? The muted colors and the many small on-screen areas of stark contrast?"
No. No it isn't. That many have done it over the past eight years doesn't mean it ever looked good.
That does look awesome. Hopefully the girl with the 12th octave voice won't be in the English version. I will say I'm running out of reasons not to get a WiiU.

As I said, limited.
You're being ridiculous. You pretend to know everything a game will offer based on teaser trailers that don't highlight any gameplay elements with an ounce of depth.
You're the one with an agenda. And it stinks. With this kind of attitude, you have absolutely no place to call anyone biased the way you did a few times in this tread already.
No maps, so you can't get lost? Maybe pressing select will make that map appear? Maybe the game wasn't yet set in stone at the time of that trailer? No sand box? Where's the sand box in X? Xenoblade wasn't sandbox. It was your typical JRPG fare with a stellar execution. A big world map to explore, the same as Dragon Quest VIII, for example. Now the battle scene... What are you on about? The both of them have different battle system. Now, you do know pretty much how X will play like. No very difficult, after all, the developer said it will be just like Xenoblade but with more polish... Now, FF XV? Nope, you have next to no idea how this one will play like. You base everything on assumptions your biased mind made up. There could be many explanations for anything you see in the trailers. Yet you come up with the most negative ones you can imagine to suit your retarded agenda.
The fact that you need to trash something to make your favoured game look better speaks greatly of your bias. Proving that discussing anything with you is an exercise in folly that can't be met with any sound reasoning and good faith.

dont feed him, it is pointless. X looks fantastic, and this game it's exclusive to the WiiU, just buy a WiiU and play it when it comes. thats the only answer i have to this guy.

He probably doesn't even realise that X is one of my most anticipated games.
He thinks you need to bash something to make something else look more appealing. Both games look phenomenal. Both are different. And at the end of the day, we know more about X's gameplay than we do FF XV, but he likes to pretend he knows better. His guesses about FF XV's game design are ludicrous at best and overly narrow-minded.
I'll enjoy both games, and that pretty much all that matters.

So I'm providing tangable examples and you're coming back with speculation and I'm the one with the "agenda", lol. If it makes you sleep better at night. You've yet to provide me with any examples of me being wrong, just saying. It isn't like I only provided the trailers that fit my ideas, and ommited others. I showed every trailer out (that I know of, do feel free to provide a link to any others to further solidify my points). Also, hitting a button to to bring up a map with at least no on screen minimap? That seems like bad game design in an open World game.
BTW, Xenoblade not sandbox? You obviously havent played Xenoblade. Lol.

Hynad, no offense, but you're delusionnal.
FF XV and X hasn't come out yet and there is no tangible ANYTHING for both games. The only thing you can say is that each game will most likely be similar to their predecessor. So someone saying X will be similar to Xenoblade is just as a proper assumption like saying FF 15 is like FF 13 (14 is the MMO, so I'm not counting that.
Also how can you even support Sony or SE for FF15. THey've been dangling that game for YEARS so people would buy a PS3. It's like their grand turismo scheme the annouced it and I think it was 5 years later it came out. I'm just ranting on this part. We should stay with the initial discussion.

Delusional? Seriously? Do you even know what that word means?
Have you even seen this?
Here, let me quote it for you:
Tetsuya Takahashi: "The game's battle system is based on the one in Xenoblade Chronicles for Wii, but with even more polish."
So, yes, assuming it will be similar to Xenoblade is pretty proper, since the developer is suggesting this himself.
When it comes to Final Fantasy XV, what the heck does Sony has to do with anything? Seriously... ¬_¬ We haven't got much info about that game. Yes, it's taking them ages to release the game. So what? I should hate S-E for that? I don't share that childish and moronic sense of entitlement many gamers do these days.
Based on the few trailers we've got from FF XV, and contrary to what Bigmouth is trying to force down everyone's throat here, it's not that easy to put the game in a box and pretend to know everything it will offer.
@ Bigmouth: You haven't provided a single factual evidence that what you claim about FF XV is remotelly true. So what's there to argue? You're assuming everything you're spouting as facts, but have nothing to go by. Those trailers? Yeah, sure! They give a slight idea of what could be going on. But I don't pass a definite judgment on something based on assumptions. That would be stupid and unreasonable. I'll make an educated judgement once I fully know what I'm dealing with. I invite you to do the same. But based on your behaviour so far, I strongly doubt you can ever do that.
I'm not going to bash something based on whatever suits an agenda I don't even have. You think you've got evidences, but they're nothing but assumptions. Xenoblade is an open world RPG with a sandbox feel. As in: It's open world, sure, as you get to explore its massive world without too much constraints or an overly linear path, but it's not a sandbox. Sandbox means a living "breathing world" that evolves as you play, based on your actions and choices, and in which you can dynamically change some parameters. Hence the "sandbox" appellation.
Xenoblade's world progression evolves based on key trigger moments in the game just the same as most other well crafted JRPG (read: Not FF XIII). Its delivery is stellar, but it's not a living, evolving, dynamically changing world. It's no Elder Scrolls, GTA or Fallout. But I suspect this distinction of mine will result in us arguing over the semantic rather than on the core of the matter here. Which is: We don't know much about FF XV, and bashing it the way you do just to make X look better is childish at best. One can say a game looks more appealing than an other without making stuff up based on an obvious agenda to justify his preference. Hating on something you don't know is certainly retarded and points to a great deal of ignorance. And as most sane people know, ignorance is the enemy of reason.
