A new title for Wii U is going to be announced sometime in the near future, according to a tease in the latest issue of Official Nintendo Magazine.

The April issue will apparently cover an unannounced title for Wii U, and in an effort to narrow the spectrum of speculation, the magazine specifies that it isn't a new F-Zero or Star Fox. The tease is as follows: "OOOOOH! New Wii U game! (And no, it isn’t F-Zero or Star Fox)."

It's important to note that Sonic Boom was announced earlier this week for both Wii U and 3DS. Here's to hoping that the tease wasn't in reference to this title from Sega.

Imagine if it's actually a F-Zero or a Starfox game and the statement was made in order to create a MAD PLOT TWIZT!

Well, at least they're dashing out hopes from the get-go.

Seriously, I wonder what it could be. They don't seem to be putting too much hype behind it, so I wonder if its just an eShop game or something.

Fingers crossed for a new Metroid game.

It's going to be Wii Music 2. I am 101% sure.

No way Nintendo announces a big game in a magazine. If it's anything big, it'll be in a major Direct or at E3. Anything else is wishful thinking.

So they acknowledge the fact that we want those games yet they refuse to make them? Only Nintendo would do something like that.
