I can understand that. If this is the case, it would make zero sense to refer to a handheld game as "console quality" whatsoever. It would also make zero sense to use that term in any other context, because it would make zero sense to compare the quality of console and handheld games, as they are inheriently different.

Yes, and no. I think that you've got the term wrong. I believe you mean console experience and not console quality. In terms of quality, it's a given that handhelds cannot do what consoles do. Now, for the console experience, it just means types of games that were traditionally not found on handhelds. Like FPSs, for example.

I think I got the term right, because I just saw it being used today. Unless that person was using the wrong term... in which case, I'm 100% A-OK with that.
"Console experience" sounds like a perfectly fine term that pretty much fits what I've been saying.
