And not just darker shades of brown, am i right?

Halo 2's install base at released was what...18 million consoles in homes? lol The only way to compare sales is to figure out the attach rates. I don't know for sure, but I'd wager Halo 2's attach rate blows Reach's out of the water.

Wouldn't Halo 2's install base via attach rates blow (slight less) Halo 3 as well?

No, I think Halo 3 did the best of the bunch. I think as far as attach rates, it goes Halo3>Halo2>Halo>Halo 4. I could be wrong though. Feel free to do the math.
So much for the "M$ has no exclusives" argument. The best part is reading through the comments from the Sony fans where they pretend not to care about Gears, but you know they'd be going nuts and rubbing it in the face of Xbox fans if the Gears franchise were picked up by a different publisher and went multiplatform.
Don't worry Sony fans... you've still got great 3rd party exclusives from mega blockbuster franchises coming like Metal Gear Solid V, Final Fantasy XV, Kingdom Hearts III... oh wait.

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.

Right, right, I suck at maths anyway. I'll trust you on this one and say you are right :)

Never thought gaming could be so spiritual(incl. all contradictions that comes with it) I think the right move by MS ,as loosing Mass Effect wasn't really smart at all+ gears belong to the xbox . |
they lost bioshock and mass effect, and to a certain extent dead rising..
but sony took the biggest hit loosing final fantasy, metal gear, and devil may cry

Damn, and I was hoping to see this series finally see the light of day on Playstation. Oh well. the is more at home on XB, and lord knows the console needs some AAA exclusives right now.

No need for this. Don't see anyone saying MS had no exclusives, but I sure did see others saying ps4 has no games.. You comment is petty and there is no need for it.
Seeing as how they games in the main storyline for Gears, as well as Halo, has consistently sold extremely well, I have a hard time NO seeing this as a major win for MS. Gears and Halo are two brands that haven't been in decline when it comes to the games in the main storyline so they will both definitely move consoles.
