I'm excited cause everyone knows that when Nintendo struggles is when gamers win, so I hope we get new info of the games we know and the ones we don't know!

You wont hear anything about games coming.  This is a financial presentation of past reaults and future expectations, but it isnt a showcase.

Last year they had a big Nintendo Direct to go along the financial results

I wonder how Wii U did. Either way, anyone who thinks going to smartphones is a good idea is an idiot.

Shareholders are usually pretty stupid. I guarantee Nintendo will announce something related to mobile development. Probably some apps that complement WiiU/3DS games. It doesn't have to be all bad. A pokedex app on your phone would be awesome. They could even give away a free pokemon on X/Y for everyone who downloads the app. If Nintendo is smart about it then mobile development could help them out quite a bit.

They already have a Pokedex app on your phone which already caused a brief jump in stock prices.

Well that's news to me. It's cool that they've released something like that already.

*they* didn't. The hazy relationship between Nintendo and The Pokemon Company meant that TPC released it on their own, basically.

Can Nintendo sell negatives numbers again?

I think European retailers just took back the shipments they sent back to Nintendo, dont think any new shipment came in lol.

Iwata's new plan will most likely be announced (something to do with mobile is my guess(but not about developing games)), otherwise you can expect a huge drop in share price...

Looking forward to the inevitable Direct next week as well.

I think there could be some big changes coming.

Iwata's comment about Nintendo becoming skeptical of the model of selling hardware + software in the same old way doesn't sound like he was joking around.

It sounded like he's contemplating a Vita/Vita TV style approach in future. I'm sure a lot of people could get behind that if done right. I just hope they bring out a new DS soon that has a decent resolution screen.

RIP Dad 25/11/51 - 13/12/13. You will be missed but never forgotten.

I`m surprised we haven`t seen a ND already. Last year it took place 7 days before the results presentation.
Now we are 3 days away and now ND.

This presentation will indeed be one of the most important presentations ever for Nintendo and Iwata.
The Q&A will probably shed some light on Nintendo`s future plans - more than the results presentation itself.
Projections for the next quarter will indicate what games might be coming until March.

I think Nintendo probably realizes this isn't a "here's some new Mario Kart and X footage!" type of solution any more. This situation is far gone from that, investors want a real new business strategy full stop.

I'm excited to see what Nintendo will bring to the table after the results.
