Übisöft, because they make shitty games imo.

This thread is about Publishers, not developers ...

Ubisoft are a publisher they are Europe's largest.

Ok, but what I am saying is that people who usually "make" games are Developers, not Publishers.

Wouldn't that exlude your own choice as well? Nintendo develops like 80% of the games they publish.

OT: Definitely EA. Just a very shady business in general.

This is what first party is to nintendo, so look at all of the nintendo games that are made and you will see that none are made by Nintendo but they are developed by Nintendo EAD (or others) which are 1st party developers so technically what you said is wrong.

EA for me the worst by far. They launch broken games like Battlefield 4 and they are always dropping hints to their competitors like Activision.

I Think they truly deserve to be the most hated company in america

I'm a little surprised Capcom is winning in the poll, not because Capcom hasn't made some blunders -- it has -- but because EA is so monstrous.

My least liked publisher, and the one I identify as most responsible for degrading the integrity and art of video games, is EA. The reasons are many, but the primary ones are downloadable content abuses, mistreatment of smaller studios, mismanagement of online servers, and investment in microtransactions.

EA, then Capcom.

Sigh. So many scumbags in the gaming industry. But you can only pick one and I know a lot of people will pick EA because a lot of good reasons but the one that hurts me the most is Capcom. Why you ask? Well lets see:

1. They milk the living shit out of Street Fighter. I mean there are 5 or 6 versions of Street Fighter IV. The same exact game repackaged and sold over and over again. And thats just street fighter IV.

2. They cancelled Megaman Legends which ALOT of people were looking forward and even petitioned to bring it back and of course they were ignored. Than have the audacity to blame it on the fans.

3. They cancelled Marvick Hunter, another Megaman game that looked absolutely fantasic. Which was suppose to Wii U exclusive and was suppose to be a FPS take on Megaman similar to the Metroid prime games.

4. Repackaging Marvel v Capcom 3 into "UIltimate" Marvel v Capcom for full price a couple months later with a few added characters and completely seperate online from the original.

5. On Disc DLC. They basically just chopped out a part of the game, locked it onto the disc and charged you unlock it in Resident Evil 6.

8. Dmc: The Devil May Cry. I'll ignore the redundant title but what the fuuuuuuck was that!?

Sigh, if going to criticise a company do it without bullshit.

1. There are only two versions of SFIV you need buy if wanted them all on release, Arcade Edition and soon Ultra are optional DLC updates, you o not need rebuy them on dic.  Even if you buy eavh as a disc, is only 4 updates, not 5 or 6.

2. MML3 was meant to have fan input, but the devroom was dead, fans cry but truth it they didn't step up to their part of creating it and it did show lack of interest.

3. A game nobody heard of until years after it was cancelled.  Don't create a farce that peple cared about this in any way whatsoever.

4. Was a budget price release and the rest it just a failure to understand ho things need to work.

5. RE6 is one of the few games they never did this.  On dis DLC was free unlocks got from doing RE.net tasks.  Pay DLC needed be downloaed.

8. Awesome game, fixed everything wrong with DMC series.

Are a lot of things Capcom have done to be voted worst publisher, but none of the above applies.

Yep. It fixed everything wrong  with the franchise like awesome characters and   massive combos actually taking skill to pull off! Oh and who needs a lock on feature!

Capcom the most. I don't particularly like Activision and EA (although EA has plenty of games I like). Square Enix is probably up there

Some people seem to have no positive to say about Capcom, Sega and Square Enix. Is it due to their neglect of Mega Man, Sonic and Final Fantasy respectively or lack of localization?

Besides some questionable business pratices I actually think the 3 did ok in the 7th generation??

I'm surprised Capcom is beating out EA. Must be the extra bump they get from Vita owners. You would think most Nintendo fans would vote EA.

When did DMC have awesome characters?  Dante was always a ridiculous character and he got worse with each games release.  Massive combos still take skill in new DmC, but basic ones ar emuch easier, skilled players do not need a lock on feature.

Eh.. I liked Dante in the older games. In DmC he  is simply a typical emo character.
