Move is integrated to Dual Shock 4... the led have this function.

That was an excuse to justify that godawful glowing light. Sure it probably works but no one in his right mind would use the DS4 as a motion controller. It doesn't even have a strap.

They're going to add more functionality with it as time goes on. The ps4 eye is currently $100. It has a pretty high demand.

Got mine for 59.99, where is it 100?

It's not retailing. I'm saying that people were buying them for 100 because it was sold out. Not sure if that's still true. I haven't checked in a while.

Why would sony add a light for no reason??? You make no sense LMAO at a controller needing a strap.

Infamous 2 was great with Move controls, so I hope Second Sons supports Move too. That's how I want to play Second Sons.

KZ3 supported Move, did they ditch it for Shadow Fall? If so then I think the answer is yes Sony has abandoned Move, because if any hardcore genre is a natural fit with Move it's FPS.

its a gimmick but one that can easily sale well with just one good piece of software.

Yeah the backlash to Kinect really changed things. I kinda wish the cam stayed as a forced add on like Kinect 2, but market certainly were happy they dropped it.

I know indies will be using it a lot, and probably by the end of the year multiplat games will have their kinect features ported over.

Was it though?

Sony Sacrificed the PlayStation 4 Camera to Beat Microsoft on Price

http://ie.ign.com/articles/2013/06/26/sony-sacrificed-the-playstation-4-camera-to-beat-microsoft-on-price

The decision to double the GDDR5 RAM from 4GB to 8GB had more to do with dropping the camera as a pack in item at their same target price.

Even if they had included the camera, an item that retails for $60 as a separate SKU, it wouldn't have made the MSRP of the PS4 $499. More like $450 at most.

Like it's already been said, Move is for all functional purposes, built into the DS4.

Yes, I bought a Move controller and yes, I owned a PSEye as early as 2007; it was a good control option for the FPS games that incorporated it and I was very fond of Sports Champions, that may not have been as cute or accessible as Wii Sports (which I played as heavily as any normal Wii owner), but it did work more as advertised compared to the Wii Remote.

It's clearly not top priority for SCE, which is probably a wise decision given the luke warm response to Move, and more importantly, XB1 Kinect, which should really be one of the major selling points of the platform given that consumers are paying $100 extra for it.

We'll see. I'm willing to bet SCE and third party developers will release software that makes the PS4 Camera a bit more compelling, as much as I'm willing to lay down money to buy one in the future. There just isn't anything compelling currently, or announced for me personally.

at least, it's not mandatory like kinect

Predictions for end of 2014 HW sales:

 PS4: 17m   XB1: 10m    WiiU: 10m   Vita: 10m

It was an excuse to be compared to Kinect. patetic

All motion controllers have straps. Ethomaz argued that the DS4 could be used as motion controller. Nobody will.

Why would they make a big glowing light on the back? The same reason why they would laugh at gamers who don't like that light and refuse to add the option to turn it off. Because they're dicks.
