The ps4 has had an incredible launch, no one can deny that. One thing that has bothered me though, the ps4 camera. it is a very capable camera, but it has zero software for it (MS has this issue with kinect and that is bundled with the console), is sony selling the camera strictly as a device for streaming and video chat at this point, or will they try to support it with some software and move as well like sports champions 2 for instance? Is there a plan to at least make more use of it? Not a huge deal to me as I hate motion controls but I am thinking bigger picture for sony here.

One thing sony does not do a good job with is supporting secondary devices/peripherals imo, Move seemed to be abandoned as well.

I think a wise move for Sony would be to price move games at around 30 to offset the start up cost of the camera. Since its the begining of the gen all they need is that on killer app for it to take off. I'm actually more interested in what developers have in store for the touch pad

Totally agree, the touchpad is a bigger innovation then anything any other console has done this gen, it could be a game changer for MMO's. Really want to see how more games will use it.

I hope so

Yes.
As a optional item, developers will not develop for the camera.

So, the light in the back of the controler is now useless.

Fixed.

There's already a Sports Champions 2 and it's just as good as the first one.  It can be purchased for less than $10 right now so definitely recommended to those who own a Move.

Dont agree kinect is bundled how is that working out? The camera has been selling great,

The light is not useless, ever go to a friends house and have 4 people playing NHL against each other? Put controller down forget who has what controller? That solves this issue, pretty neat little feature.

probably going to be used for kiddie games, but not much else.

Yeah the backlash to Kinect really changed things. I kinda wish the cam stayed as a forced add on like Kinect 2, but market certainly were happy they dropped it.

I know indies will be using it a lot, and probably by the end of the year multiplat games will have their kinect features ported over.

Was it though?

They are still on the phase of making PS4 a sucess, maybe after that they can dedicate a little more to Move2... I know I liked my PS3 Move... will probably buy PS4+Move+PSVita at the same time AND KNACK
